New Principal Chief Engineer of SER
Vijay Kumar Panjiar took over the charge as Principal Chief Engineer, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata on Monday. Prior to taking over the charge as Principal Chief Engineer, SER, Panjiar was Senior Deputy General Manager, SER. Panjiar, IRSE (Indian Railway Service of Engineers) of 1988 Batch joined Indian Railways in the capacity of Assistant Engineer, Eastern Railway in the year 1990. He is an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, who did his Graduation in Civil Engineering. Panjiar has worked in different Zonal Railways viz. Eastern Railway, Metro Railway; North Eastern Railway; South Eastern Railway in various capacities as Sr DE (Coordination); DSE (Planning), DCE (Construction); CE (Construction); CPM/Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited; Chief Engineer/Track Maintenance; Sr DGM. He has also worked as DRM, North Eastern Railway, Varanasi (Banaras).
PAS Bokaro shines in Essay writing competition
The students of The Pentecostal Assembly School brought laurels for the school in the Essay Writing Competition organized by Canara Bank in connection with Vigilance Awareness. Sejal Vasant of 11 C and H.Yukti of 11 E bagged First and Second position respectively , Whereas Simran Kant (12 E) and Arpan Kumar ( 9 B) jointly secured third position .The topic for the essay was 'Corruption Free India'. Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad congratulated the students for their success and achievement in making their own identity.
