CCL holds retirement function
A retirement function for five superannuating employees from CCL HQ was organized at CCL, HQ Ranchi. P.M. Prasad CMD, CCL along with NK Agarwal Director (Finanace), Bhola Singh Director Tech (P&P), and General Managers and HoDs of various departments graced the occasion.Vijay Kumar General Manager (N-EE), Subhankar Gandhi Chief Manager (E&M), S.N. Narayan Bhatta Chief Manager (Fin), Madan Mohan Mishra Sr.P.A and Binod Kumar Vishwakarma accountant were the five employees who superannuated. In an innovative step Public Relation department, CCL aired a short film in which all the retiring employees expressed their opinions and recounted their journey in the company.CMD, CCL P.M Prasad congratulated the employees on their successful career and wised them for their future. He also extended New Year greetings to everybody.
Upgraded e-Ticketing Website & Mobile App
Following the vision of ‘Digital India’ of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Indian Railways has revamped & upgraded its e-ticketing website www.irctc.co.in and IRCTC Rail Connect Mobile App, which are used for booking of Railway tickets ‘online’. The Upgraded e-ticketing Website & App, offering “Best-in-class” features, has been launched by Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry and Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Piyush Goyal today on 31st December, 2020. This will be a New Year gift by the Railways to all passengers. Speaking on the occasion, he said “The Railways is committed to serving the nation, and constantly working to augment its services to further improve the rail travel experience. This Upgraded e-ticketing platform for booking of online Railway tickets, will enhance passenger convenience. “ He said that IRCTC should continue to work towards constantly improve the web site and ensure that is second to none in the world as per the digital India mission and vision of PM.
ECR achievements in 2020
The year 2020 was full of achievements for East Central Railways. In spite of the global epidemic Covid-19, under the leadership and guidance of Lalit Chandra Trivedi, General Manager, East Central Railway, in all areas such as new lines, gauge conversion, doubling and electrification of East Central Railway to strengthen the infrastructure. Many tasks were completed. Excellent passenger facilities were provided in stations and trains during the year and special attention was paid to passenger safety, punctuality and hygiene. A total of 78 kms new rail lines were completed in the year, while doubling of 97 kms of rail lines was completed. Apart from this several projects were completed and works were done during the year.
JPPC organises Geeta Updesh
The Srimad Bhagwat Geeta sermon was organized under Shri Chaitanya Education Inclusion at Distillery Compound, HB Road, Koker Ranchi on Thursday by Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee in association with ISCON Ranchi Center. This Bhagwat Geeta sermon was organized by the State president of Jharkhand Professional Congress; Aditya Vikram Jaiswal with the aim of saving mankind from the grave crisis like the corona epidemic in the year 2020 and for the betterment and happiness, health of people in the New Year 2021 was done. Executive Chairman of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev and Vinay Sinha Deepu, were present on the occasion.
