The district administration has constructed a new agriculture market complex at Kali Badi Road with the cost of one crore 20 lakhs rupees from the funds of 14th finance commission, which is still waiting for settlement. No famer has shown his interest in settlement of the shops.

The farmers of the district said that due to lack of light and ventilation, customers will not turn up in the market to purchase the vegetables. In this condition the farmers are not showing their interest to start the business from this complex.

The district administration is planning to inaugurate the market complex in the month of September. This is the reason that the department is completing the work on war level of the market.

The farmers of the district said that this market complex can be suitable for the store of the company but never be for the market complex.

The farmers had lodged their problems in the office of municipal council but no one had taken the interest and they have continued the work as per the desire of the council.

The district administration is ready to auction the shops but due to lack of light and ventilation, farmers are not showing their interest towards the settlement. A farmer, who settled the vegetable space in the auction Koleshwar Prasad Kushwaha said that the municipality settled for the year 2020-21 for one year, but due to Corona after one month the market had to close. The Security money of Rs 1,20,000 is still with the municipality.

The farmers of the district clearly said that they will not take part in the auction as well as settlement.
