A gathering, on the occasion of New Year-2014, was organised in the Vichar Manch of Darbhanga House, Ranchi, in presence of CMD Gopal Singh, Director (T/Opns) TK Nag, Director (personnel) RR Mishra, CGM (P&P) PK Guin and general manager (finance) TK Sen.
While addressing the gathering Singh extended his wishes to the employees and people of Jharkhand for a happy and glorious New Year and motivated the employees for doing their work with full dedication keeping mind the ideology of philanthropy, ethics and transparency. He also gave a detailed description of Kayakalpa Yojnaen-Samadhan Kendra, CCl Kelal, Jan Arogya Kendra, CSR Dispensaries, Mobile van etc. games and sports, running in the company for achieving company’s goal i.e. all-round development of villagers, downtrodden and the workers. Altogether around 53,000 people benefited from our health camp.
He also motivated the employees for achieving the production of target of 53.5 million tone of coal for the year 2013-14. TK Nag, Director (T/Opns) also wished the employees for a happy and prosperous New Year and gave them a detailed description of company’s achievement. He said that the company had already produced 32.18 million tone of coal till now which is more than 22 lakh tone as compared to last year this period. He assured that the company would touch the production target of 53.5 million tonne of coal earmarked for the current financial year. He also informed about introduction of new technology like Wide Area Net work,Riverse bidding etc. in the company.
RR Mishra, Director (Pers) also extended good wishes to the employees of entire CCl as well as people of Jharkhand. He described in detail about the performance of different departments of his secretariat and said that the industrial relation of the company was quite conducive during the year 2013 and several welfare & CSR activities were executed. He informed about the implementation of new wages to the contractual labourers, which has already started from November paid in Decedmber, 2013. “CCl is the first company in Coal India to implement it,” he said.
PK Guin, CGM(P&) and TK Sen, GM (Fin) also addressed the occasion. Sanjay, manager (personnel) compeered the programme while vote of thanks was proposed by B Trivedi, GM (P/Admn). large number of HODs, officers and employees were present during the function.
