Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday held a high-level meeting at his Project Building Office in Ranchi and said that the New Ranchi will be developed keeping the international standards into the mind which is to be developed on the lines of Chadigarh and Raipur. The CM during the meeting directed the concerned officials to prepare a feasibility report after making comparative study of infrastructural and technical possibilities of other cities developed in the Country.
“I have personally visited the probable areas identified for the purpose of New Ranchi which is being thought over taking all possibilities regarding these places into consideration,” said the CM.
New Capital, according to Das, has to have proper infrastructural set up including State Assembly, Secretariat, residence of MlAs, Officials as well as other educational and financial institutions along with the provisions of entertainment and sports activities.
The CM further added that the New Ranchi is to be developed keeping the present and future into mind so that its basic infrastructure could withstand the increasing pressure of population making it effective in the future also. Ranchi Master Plan – 2037 has be made keeping all such aspects in mind, said the CM.
