The city, already getting a feel of being metropolitan with a number of national and international firms signing MoUs with the government in the Global Investor’s Summit, will soon have its first four screen multiplex at the newly opened Nucleus Mall at the Circular Road.
The maximum excitement and anticipation of the youths and movie buffs is the arrival of the largest and the most premium film entertainment company — PVR Cinemas, at the top floor of the mall.
“It will possess 4 screens and a seating capacity of around 970 with all the facilities a premium multiplex chain has to offer” said Manoj Sharma, president of the mall. With that many screens and such a large seating capacity, the multiplex will surely ensure that the movie buffs in the city don’t have to miss any movie and don’t have problems in finding tickets. Asked about when the multiplex would be ready to function, Sharma said, “We expect it to be ready by the second or third week of March.”
A resident of lalpur, Saurabh Gupta, seemed very excited about the PVR screens. “I am very happy and excited to know that PVR is finally here. I am eagerly waiting it to be complete and will definitely watch the very first movie releasing here’, he said.
Selfie corner in front of the mall with ‘I lOVE (Heart Symbol) RANCHI’ in the background is also attracting a lot of attention with the youths, especially girls, happily posing for selfies in numbers. Preeti Singh, a student, busy taking selfies with her friends was all praise for the selfie corner. “I think it is a great gesture. I love Ranchi and I love taking selfies and this unique idea has enabled me to combine the love together,” she said.
A big screen for advertisements and a small water fountain crave for attention and make the overall outlook of the mall eye catching.
