New see through parks like the Nigam Park and Harmu Park are becoming the favourite spot for parents and children. Flowers, plants, grassy carpets, landscape pathways, cool breeze and swing for children are drawing crowd in huge number.
Parents along with their kids are finding Nigam Park near Raj Bhawan a suitable place to spend time with their family. Unlike many parks of the city Nigam Park does not witness indecent activities of couples; rather it provides a relaxing environment to the families who come to the park. Sushweta Singh who came along with her daughter to the park said, “I prefer to visit this park as it free from unsavory activities. I can freely move with my daughter here and allow her too to move anywhere within the park premises without any fear that she observe any unpleasant sight”.
“Parks have the unique ability to provide kids with a sense of adventure. Every hike in the woods brings new things to see, and around every turn there is something new to discover. So I bring my daughter to this park,” she added. “This is a new park recently opened in my locality so I have come with my family to enjoy the cool breeze and its greenery. More over I find it a great place for my child to connect with the environment. Its open space allowing my child to play freely,” said Manohar Das, came with his family.
This park is not only popular among little kids and their parents but also old people. Raghunath Sahu said, “I visit this park in the morning for morning walk and to mediate.”
