State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo today said that the incident of gang-rape of a minor tribal girl in Karra area of Khunti district has once again exposed the entire system. Shahdeo said that during the tenure of the incumbent government, there have been frequent incidents of rape in the last 11 months. Tribal and Dalit daughters are also becoming victim of such cruelty, he said.
The BJP Spokesperson said that there are frequent gangrape incidents with girls in Jharkhand. So far, more than 1,300 rape incidents have taken place this year. But, the decision makers and people, who are in power, remain silent. It is very shameful. He said that the State government should take strict steps to protect the daughters of Jharkhand. There is a need to instill fear of law in the hearts of perpetrators of such heinous crimes by strengthening the administration.
