Decked up with various unique concepts and specialties of each district, the three-day Jharkhand Foundation Day events kicked off at Morabadi Ground with much fan-fare in the presence of several dignitaries on Sunday. Enfolding the journey of 16-year-old State, artistes from all the 24 districts have gathered in State Capital with some innovative themes to mesmerise the visitors depicting the soul essence of the ‘land of forest’.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Department of Rural Development Minister Neelkanth Singh Munda who attended the first day event as the Guest of Honour. Urban Development Minister CP Singh was present as the Distinguished Guest along with Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma and few MlAs.

Focusing on growth and progress of Jharkhand, Munda while addressing the people urged them to support the Government in its entire endeavour for bringing the State in the top slot as the entire nation is eyeing on Jharkhand at the moment.

“It is an immense pleasure to watch different districts culture under one roof. On the occasion of Statehood Day, we all must pledge to make this State as ‘Ideal State’ fulfilled with ample natural resources and dedicated human resources. Since the State has been carved out of Bihar in 2000, development was never considered seriously. Since a decade there was no stable Government to provide political stability but now the present Government has pledged to bring the State on the forefront fighting all odds,” said Neelkanth Munda.

Similarly, opining the main reasons and motto behind the formation of Jharkhand, Urban Development Minister, CP Singh said, “With the vision of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Minister lal Krishna Advani, the State was formed. Exceeding all hurdles, Jharkhand is approaching towards a new dawn. The sacrifice of all those freedom strugglers will not be wasted. It is the right time to brainstorm on how to take Jharkhand on top position while ensuring equal participation of different sections of society.”
