Navbharat Jagriti Kendra has initiated an important step to help the peasants of lasodh and adjoining villages of Churchu block. President of NBJK Girija Satish laid the foundation stone of this check dam which is going to be built on Kumrah spring of the village.
NBJK and Plan India are working in 21 villages of this block on the issue of child centric development. The coordinator of this program Faiz Ahmad said that under this program we have to try total development of the village and this initiative is a part of that aim.
The villagers of lasodh and adjoining villages were very happy with the start of construction of this check dam. After laying the foundation stone Girija Satish said that very soon you people will be able to work in your fields all round the year because after completion of this project you will not remain dependent on rain.
