CRPF, COBRA and district police in a joint raid arrested two associates of CPI Maoist from Chargi Valley forest range on Thursday mid night.
Working on a tip-off, police arrested two persons —Mansu Manjhi and laldhan Manjhi. Both are the resident of Putkidih under Mahuatand police station in Bokaro district.
Cops also recovered one country made pistol, double barrel gun and seven live bullets from their possession.
During the interrogation, duos accepted that they had demanded levy form Delip Buldicon Company working for construction of Four-lane road, police said. Denied to pay levy from the company duos decided to make an attack on the office of the company. Before they do that, cops arrested them,
said police.
