Olive green uniform –clad Maoists cadres blasted the house of the local para –teacher Jailal Mahto at Baltharwa village near Jhumra hill, under the Jagesher- Bihar police station, about 60 km from district headquarters, last night .It may be recalled that they wanted to kill para teacher but he was not at house .They also beat up her wife Vimla Devi after being branded her husband police informant, sources said.
According to reports ,about 40-50 armed Naxalites ,including some women ,all said to be aged between 25 and 30 years ,forced one rebel to open the door of the para teacher Jailal Mahto and sent away Jailal,s wife Vimla Devi ,his father Moti Mahto ,and other members of the family out late in the night and thrashed brutally with sticks till his wife got feinted .They then place a landmine and blasted the ancestral house, causing extensive damage to it ,soon after the inmates of the house went to the house of his brothers and damaged their house too, sources said .
Sources said that the doors of the house were flung onto the road and most household including TV, freeze, and cloths were fully damaged in the impact of the explosion, raising slogans against Jailal Mahto, they left behind a poster claiming as labeling him a police informer..However, local police have denied that the victim duo were their informers .On getting information the cops from Jagesher –Bihar police reached the village and started its investigation.
