The National Youth Day was celebrated in the AISECT University, Hazaribag at Tarba-Kharba.In this Occasion of Swami Vivekananda's Birth Anniversary NSS unit of the university played an important role.The program was started by paying floral tributes to the picture of Swami Vivekananda by the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. PK Nayak and Registrar Dr. Munish Govind.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. PK Nayak encouraged the students to participate in such a program and said that the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda is inspirational.While addressing the students, he said that in 1984 the government declared this day as National Youth Day and every year since 1985 all Indians celebrate it as National Youth Day.
On the other hand, the registrar of the university, Dr. Munish Govind said that Swami Vivekananda has played an important role in giving new direction and positive energy to the youth of the nation.India is one of the youngest countries in the world, with nearly 65 per cent of its population below the age of 35.He said that the youth is indeed the most dynamic and vibrant part of the population of any country.In such a situation, it is necessary to develop the personality of the youth and involve them in various nation building activities.
University's Dean Admin Dr. SR Rath, referring to the purpose of National Youth Day 2023 theme "Developed Youth Developed India", apprised the students about the importance of this day.Piyush Kumar and Chandan Kumar also kept their views on behalf of the students. The stage was operated by Preeti Vyas and the vote of thanks was done by NSS officer Dr. Rudra Narayan.
