National Unity Day is celebrated on 31 October across the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. During this occasion, National Unity Run was organized by BSL . At the beginning of the National Unity Run, Executive Director (Works) B.K. Tiwari administered the oath of national unity to the officers and employees of BSL.
Thereafter, a National Unity Run was organized from Gandhi Chowk to Ispat Bhawan, which was flagged off by ED B.K. Tiwari,. In the series of Vigilance Awareness Week, school children of Bokaro Ispat Nagar, Central Industrial Security Force and BSL Vigilance Department team participated in the National Unity Run under the leadership of Chief General Manager (Vigilance) and ACVO Arun Kumar.
Also in another programme under the Vigilance Awareness Week campaign, an interactive workshop on Vigilance Awareness was organized by the Vigilance Department of Bokaro Steel Plant for the Chief General Manager and Head of the Department . ED Birendra Kumar Tiwari was present as the chief guest in this program.
At the beginning of the program, Chief General Manager (Vigilance) Arun Kumar welcomed all the participants and through a presentation discussed the approach of Vigilance with examples of some case briefs. A total of 22 Chief General Managers and Heads of Departments participated as participants in today's program.
