Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today said that India's status on the international stage has been substantially uplifted in the 10-year rule of National Democratic Alliance. He said that over the past 10 years, banks in the country have recorded profits amounting to three lakh crore rupees.
Singh was addressing a huge public rally at Sector 2 Durga Puja Ground in Bokaro in the presence of several prominent leaders, including Jharkhand State President Babulal Marandi, opposition leader Amar Bauri, MP candidate Dhullu Mahto, Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, and Amit Yadav.
In his speech, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the central government's achievements, stating that they are operating with a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. He mentioned that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee created Jharkhand as a separate state to ensure its overall development.
Singh said that corruption is rampant here after the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha government came to power. He said that the process of corruption started as soon as the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha government was formed. Forget about the Chief Minister, even the minister's PS servant is getting wads of notes. Bundles of notes are being found with his associate. This kind of work cannot be done without the encouragement and patronage of the Chief Minister. Today ED has arrested him, so it is said that the BJP government is trying to harass all its opponents. If any person from the government led by Modi ji is caught in corruption, his place will also be jail.
The Defence Minister said that even after committing corruption, they are still making baseless allegations against our government. “For the first time I heard that the Chief Minister of a state disappeared for 24 hours. Neither the people of Jharkhand know, nor the agency knows. It was being searched where the Chief Minister of Jharkhand was. Today he is in jail and says that the government is misusing ED and CBI,” he said.
State BJP Chief Babulal Marandi expressed full confidence in PM Narendra Modi's leadership, highlighting the transformative impact of his policies at all levels. He praised Modi's vision and effective governance, which have led to significant economic growth, improved infrastructure, and enhanced national security. Confident in the party's prospects, Marandi predicted a comprehensive victory for the BJP in the upcoming elections in Jharkhand.
