NaMo Mantra getting huge public support

The Narendra Modi wave in Jharkhand seems to have gathered momentum with social outfit NaMo Mantra getting huge support from people from a cross section of society and its campaigns grabbing public attention.

Jharkhand wing of NaMo Mantra on Wednesday launched a sticker campaign in Ranchi to popularise the name and vision of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters pasted stickers on their vehicles with the text – NaMo Mantra Jharkhand, Modi lao Desh Bachao  (Bring Modi to save the nation).

Although the election symbol of BJP the lotus was emboldened in the stickers, the social outfit refused to call itself political. “We have been repeatedly saying that NaMo Mantra is a non-political organization of non political people. A lot of people from all sections of society are coming up to join the group as they want to see Modi Ji  as our next prime minister,” said Sanjay Seth, State convenor of the group.

“A lot of working professionals and eminent persons of the state are joining the group. Jharkhand’s noted Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Anant Sinha participated in the launch of sticker campaign today. Around 40 doctors of the State have joined the group and we are expecting more and more eminent personalities and working professionals, youths and eligible voters to join the group. Since we are a non-political organization, youths are more enthusiastic about it. They don’t want to be political but they need strong political leadership. We are encouraging them to go to booths and vote,” Seth said.

When asked about his association with NaMo Mantra Dr. Sinha said that it was a personal feeling to support a strong leader. “Today most of the people in the country need a strong leader who can sail the country through all odds. If we look around us there are no options other than Modi. If he is capable of running the country efficiently as Prime Minister what is the harm in supporting him. Besides, his political affiliation to a political party doesn’t matter much,” said Dr. Sinha.

According to its members NaMo Mantra is planning to distribute 25,000 blankets for BPl families of the State during winters. It will also paste the stickers at the doors of people living in mud houses in villages. NaMo Mantra Sarees and T-Shirts will also be distributed to volunteers and the needy, as per Mantra members.
