Namdhari writes to CM on creation of new block

Published on:

Former Chatra MP Inder Singh Namdhari has written to Hemant Soren and Principal Secretary of Personnel dept SK Satpathy, to take a pragmatic view of the constitution of Ramgarh as a new block of Palamu. The notification for the creation of new block is on the anvil. Namdhari seeks a fresh configuration of Ramgarh as a new block.

Namdhari has contested the very territorial jurisdiction of this Ramgarh. Hutar and Bansdeeh panchayats are to come under this new block. Namdhari has opposed this move in the larger interest of the residents of these two

panchayats.

Namdhari contends in his letter to the CM that Hutar and Bansdeeh panchayats are 25 Kms away from Ramgarh. The initial ten Kilometers of the 25 Kms road is extremely arduous as there is only a rocky route and no proper road.

The residents of these two panchayats will find it too hard to reach Ramgarh block, according to him.

He suggests of two panchayats being with the parent block Chainpur. The distance of these two panchayats to Ramgarh is only 10 kms,

he said in his letter.

Ramgarh is to be carved out of Chainpur block. However Namdhari has

suggested inclusion of two panchayats of Bhandarya block in Ramgarh.

The two blocks are Bijka and Paat Fakeeradih. His contention is that these two panchayats under Bhandarya block are too close to Ramgarh and so they should be included in Ramgarh.

Bhandarya block is in Garhwa district but it is in Daltonganj Assembly

constituency.

Again there is an administrative provision of incorporating panchayats of other district but a proper notification from the government is required and hence Namdhari has exhorted the CM and SK Satpathy to send a team of officials from Ranchi to make an on the spot study of the territorial jurisdiction of the proposed creation of Ramgarh as block in Palamu.

As assembly polls are round the corner and Namdhari has stepped up his public contact for his son Dilip Singh Namdhari who is all set to contest the Daltonganj seat as an Independent.
