Nadda targets JJM,Cong Govt for ‘Minority appeasement’

BJP president J P Nadda on a two-day visit to Jharkhand and Odisha reached Giridih on Thursday where he met distinguished people as part of his party’s “Sampark Se Samarthan” outreach campaign. Addressing the public rally at Giridih, he targeted the JMM/Congress led government for appeasing Muslim population.  Addressing people at Giridih’s Jhanda ground he said that the JMM Government is focusing on its appeasement policy rather than concentrating on ground level development. Ground level reports suggest that Bangladeshi infiltration has stolen the sleep of the rural populations in various places of Santhal Pargana like: Pakur, Deoghar Dumka, and others.

“Another truth is that the tribal women are the worst affected by the ill-activities of the Rohingyas. But, the worst part of the entire scenario is that in spite of knowing the facts, the State Government led by JMM is still engaged in appeasing those anti-social cum anti-national groups for personal gains”, the BJP National President said.

The BJP chief also alleged that the Soren Government has often witnessed standing with corrupt people. Rampant land scam, illegal mining like: illegal mining of coal, stones and sand are among dozen others burning examples of illegal ongoing activities in the state,” the BJP National President added.

Highlighting Congress’s criticism against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP National President said, “When entire world is praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his creative efforts, vibrant leadership and positivity, the Congress Party and its allies are engaged in poor criticism of PM Modi. It clearly shows the poor and weak mentality of those politicians,” Nadda stressed.

Meanwhile, Nadda threw light on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievement during the last nine years of BJP Government in the centre. “Prime Minister Narendra did not leave any stone unturned in exerting efforts for all-around development of the country. As a result, crores of people have benefited from different schemes and plans of the Union Government in the regime of PM Narendra Modi”, he said.

Besides others, Nadda was accorded by the former Jharkhand CM, Raghubar Das, Babu Lal Marandi, former Giridih MP Ravindra Pandey, BJP state president, Deepak Prakash and others.

The rally of the BJP president in Giridih is important as from here he will cover ten assembly constituencies of Giridih and Koderma. The visit of Giridih is also important as Giridih has remained a bastion of JMM. The left party CPI (ML) is also active in the area.

In Giridih, BJP has a challenge from CPI (ML) along with JMM. In the last assembly elections JMM won three seats Giridih, Gandey and Dumri. CPI(ML) candidate was successful in Bagodar. The way Santal Pargana proved to be a weak link for the BJP in the last assembly elections, similarly BJP's performance in Giridih and surrounding assembly constituencies was also not satisfactory.
