Congress in the line of organising divisional meets of party workers is going to call a meeting of North Chotanagpur on September 12.
Party State president Sukhdeo Bhagat has called the meeting that is aimed to establish a direct contact with the workers. Congress recently had organised such a meeting in Chaibasa in which in-charge of party BK Hariprasad also participated.
Workers of Koderma, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Ramgrah, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Giridih would take part in that, said spokesperson Sailesh Sinha. He also added that the PCC chief has also called a meeting of all district presidents in Ranchi on September 6 to follow the decisions taken earlier.
It would also formulate strategies to hold the rally at Morhabadi in Ranchi. On Tuesday, first meeting of the advisory committee for manifest would also take place. The committee has been formed to suggest local issues that could be inducted into the manifesto of the party ahead of the general election in 2014.
