Minister of Food, public distribution and consumers affairs Saryu Roy in his reaction to the remark of the national general secretary Arun Kumar Singh, said, “It is to be found out as to why there is the dissent. And if there is the dissent then it is to be seen if it has merit and weight too. Our leader should try to find out the circumstances which led to this dissension. There can be no dissension without any circumstance. Here it is and so the dissension is.”
“My dissent has merit and weight. Whenever I have shown my dissent it has born fruits. It has never gone fruitless. My dissension is no uncalled for. It has substance and relevance,” he added.
He then explained his dissent and said, “A man creates system. He can be a part of it. But the same man cannot create an alternative to the system. No one has this freedom. None is above the system. One has to be within the system.”
