Palamu police have cracked the murder case of Peer Mohammad Ansari said DSP Heeralal Ravi on Friday April 21. DSP Ravi said Ansari was stabbed, strangulated and stoned to death by three people on the intervening night of April 26/27 under Parwa police station.
Ravi said one of the three behind this gruesome murder Ashish Kumar has been caught and remanded in judicial custody on Friday. He said Peer Mohammad Ansari lost his life as he used to restrict Rukhsar Ansari alias Jaggu from talking to his daughter.
There was some money transaction between Peer Mohammad and Jaggu and this was also a bone of contention.
Ravi said the three Jaggu, Ashish and Saddam Ansari took Peer Mohammad Ansari to a place at night where was served illicit liquor, ganja and a soft drink too and when Peer Mohammad was dead drunk he was strangulated, stabbed and then with a stone his face was crushed.
Ravi said police have recovered the blood stained ‘chaku’ used in the stabbing of Peer Mohammad.
Two others Saddam and Jaggu are still at large added DSP.
