In a special meeting of Hazaribagh Municipal Council the decision of naming the important Indrapuri to District Board Road as Gyani Ram Road was taken. The Municipal Council thus honored the first MP of Hazaribagh late Shri Gyani Ram. In this special meeting chaired by Anjali
Kumari the members paid tribute to Ex-President late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
In this meeting sanction was given to the list of 800 beneficiaries who will get Rs. 12000 each for constructing toilets in their houses under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan. Discussions were made on the matter of utilization of amount sanctioned by 14th finance commission. It was decided that from the amount roads, footpath, handpumps, drains etc. will be constructed and for it every ward
councilor will submit their proposals in the office within next 15 days.
