Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Wednesday recommended distribution of lED solar lanterns in the four villages of Kuchai Block of Saraikela - Kharsawan district in Jharkhand.
The recommendation was done by Munda at the occasion of Dipawali in order to lighten the lives of people of the area in the district where electricity is yet reach to these villages.
The solar lanterns will be distributed among the households of Rugudih, Rolahatu, Baruhatu and Gomeyadih under Kuchai block of the district.
lanterns will be distributed among the 1278 families belonging to BPl categories through Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA). Education of children is largely affected due to lack of electricity supply in the area. The senior BJP leader and leader of Opposition in the State Assembly also wished the people of state a very happy Diwali.
