On a roller coaster campaigning spree for the party, senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Wednesday promised a holistic growth and development in Jharkhand under BJP rule.
While addressing a rally in Patamda ahead of the second phase of Assembly elections, he said that the Opposition parties were conspiring to form an unstable and corrupt Government in the State. He urged voters to vote for the BJP.
Thanking the people of Jharkhand for supporting the BJP during the lS polls, Munda said his party would give a stable Government to the State. Addressing the gathering, Munda asked the villagers if they wanted a strong and stable Government like in the Centre they should cast their votes in the symbol of lotus.
Munda, who was busy these days campaigning for the party candidates in Kolhan, has been on a whirl wind tour in the districts. later in the evening, he addressed a rally at Govindpur.
Munda during his campaign trail targeted the UPA for growing unemployment, inflation and poverty in the country. In his own style, he talked to the voters in their local language. The idea behind the campaign is to woo the adivasi voters of Kolhan, which can play a significant role in party's victory, said locals.
Munda pointed out Modi was a strong leader and the condition of people's life will be changed only when there is BJP led Government in the State too.
