The procession of Muharram made its way peacefully in all the rural and urban areas of the district that concluded at late night of Friday.
In the urban area the procession was led by the Ohdedars of Anjuman. The procession started from Thana Toli and crossing Tetartar, Tiwari Dura, Hatia Garden, Rana Chouk, Mahavir Chouk, Gudri Bazar, Shastri Chouk and Bada Tala concluded at Somar Bazar. On this occasion a competition of arms and ammunition and drum was also organized by Anjuman Islamia. Many Akharas of the rural and urban areas took part in these events and the procession.
