Mr Modi your days in power is nearing to end, says Sahay

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay said about PM Modi, “A leopard cannot change its spot. When a dictator begins to behave as a statesman, he fumbles and is exposed. Prime Minister is in a similar situation. He strives to be a Statesman by changing his original spots- of the Dictator.”

“He aspires to be a global leader, but he needs urgent lessons in that - as former German Chancellor Angela Merkel did. The farewell she got after 18 years in office was unprecedented in the country's history. The entire population went out to their balconies of their houses and clapped for her spontaneously for 6 continuous minutes,” said Sahay.

“She was acknowledged as a true Statesman across the globe. But sorry to say Mr. Modi as your days in power are nearing end, a farewell of this sort is a far cry because Dictators do not get farewell which Statesmen get,” he added.

He further said that a prime example of Modi’s dictatorial skills can be had from the open letter written by the staff of a reputed news channel to their Editor to stop being a stooge of the government and start reporting facts in the spirit of Journalism.

Sahay advised the PM that it's time to bite the bullet and admit that he has made mistakes and be willing to make amendments in the national interest.
