MP Jayant Sinha and officials of the NTPC Coal Mines Project worked together and cleaned the famous Chhath pond area of Hazaribagh town. The BJP workers came on the streets early in the morning to make the Clean India Call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi successful in Hazaribagh town.
District president Tunnu Gope, ex-president Raj Kumar lal, Bhaiya Abhimanyu, Vivekanand Singh and others started the cleaning work from Annada Chowk. Another flock led by municipal council Chairman Anjali Kumari started the work from Okni area, Manish Jaiswal and others started from Kumhartoli while BP Rukhaiyar and others came from Hurhuru side. They all joined MP Jayant Sinha at 10:30 in Chhath pond premises. Along with NTPC ED Ravindra Singh Rathi and officials SK Tiwari, AK Das, BB Mahapatra and others MP Sinha first cleaned the premises and then planted saplings.
