On the occasion of the 99th annual Urs of Hazrat Baba Dukhan Shah (RA), Anjuman Islamia Lohardaga and the Urs Committee organized Mehfil-e-Qawwali program. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu, the chief patron of the program, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, Police Captain Haris Bin Zaman, MP representative Ashok Yadav, Anjuman Islamia Sadar Haji Mohd. Sahu said that Lohardaga has a history of peace and harmony. We have always been working to connect people. You are always mixing. We pray to Baba that Baba always maintains peace in Lohardaga. He said that Ganga Yamuni culture is incomparable, maintain it, only then peace and tranquility will remain in the country. Said that whoever comes to Baba with a complaint definitely gets happiness. One can find happiness in the shrines of spiritual Sufi saints. He said that Lohardaga is an example of humanity. Praising TV Singer Salim Javed (Mumbai) and TV Singer Salim Raja (Mumbai), he said that there will be a great Qawwali competition between these artists and along with tying people in the thread of unity, there will be a lot of entertainment.
Chief Patron Deputy Commissioner said that the people of Lohardaga have very good understanding, harmony and culture. I had the good fortune to see and understand this closely in the court of Hazrat Baba Dukhan Shah. He appealed to the people of Lohardaga district to maintain mutual brotherhood, peace and harmony. Police Captain Haris Bin Zaman said that communal harmony in Lohardaga district is unmatched and needs to be maintained always. He said that he prays to Allah that peace and harmony prevail in the country including Lohardaga district.
Sadar Haji Afsar Qureshi said that MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu not only helps the poor wholeheartedly but also fulfills his responsibilities in social work with great zeal. They have been fulfilling the blessing given to them by God very well. He always stands with the people of Lohardaga. On the occasion of Urs, on the first night of Qawwali competition, the scholars enjoyed Qawwali throughout the night. TV singer Salim Javed (Mumbai) and TV singer Salim Raja (Mumbai) presented good kalams for the people. Both the artists presented Hamd wa Sana, Naat-e-Pak, Ghazal, Vatan Parasti Manakbad, Shaheedi Kalam.
The Qawwals said through Qawwali that Hindus and Muslims eat from the same plate, may Allah make India like this! We will not let the country break into pieces because of the brutes, etc. Presented the verses of Qawwali.
