A 14-year-old boy, student of Class XI, ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house after his mother prohibited him to play cricket in sun in Steel city Bokaro.
Abhishek Kumar, S/o Satendra Kumar Singh, a resident of Sector-9 hanged himself after his mother scolded and stopped him from playing cricket in the sun, police said.Angry with his mother’s decision the boy locked the room and hanged himself.The body was recovered when his mother went to his room and saw him hanging. With the help of their neighbours the door was broken and he immediately rushed to the Bokaro General Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, informed a neighbour.
Earlier in Bokaro a 13-year-old boy, student of class VIIIth ran away from school after his parents scolded him for not studying enough. later he was found from West Bengal.Scolded by his teacher for not being able to cope with study pressure, a Class VIth student also went missing in Bokaro recently. later his body was recovered by the police.
