National highway in Palamau has more number of dubious private nursing homes than petrol pumps.
Sources said NH 98 here is a handy example of it. There are any numbers of the private nursing homes running in any small dingy rooms.
On Friday civil surgeon Palamu John F Kennedy walked in incognito in one private nursing home on NH 98 under Chhaterpur police station only to find one Ayurveda doctor sitting or hiding in a dark room perhaps waiting for Kennedy to go out from the nursing home.
Kennedy has confirmed this situation saying the nursing home bears a highly religious connotative name but below it there is prominently displayed the name of a doctor of a different faith.
