Weather which took unexpected turn in last couple of days making days and nights hotter is going to turn again with showers likely in couple of days to come in some parts of Jharkhand.
According to Ranchi office of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), conditions building over Jharkhand and adjoining regions are an indication of another spell of rain which may continue for quite some time.
As per the IMD’s assessment of monsoon in Jharkhand, the axis of monsoon trough also passes through Ranchi among other cities in different parts of the country besides the upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal. “Because of the system that is developing over northwest Bay of Bengal we may see rains in next couple of days,” said Director IMD Ranchi, GK Mohanty.
However, irrespective of the conditions building over Bay of Bengal Jharkhand is likely to experience rains in some isolated areas while it may be subdued in other parts of the State. The IMD forecasts fairly widespread rain on August 5 and 6.
