Despite the fact that monsoon will hit the State after two weeks but the denizens in the State capital will feel relaxed as the weather is likely to remain pleasant till June first week. Partial cloudy sky and light drizzles at few places in Jharkhand covering the isolated pockets will bring relief from the heat.

The present condition continues to remain favourable for onset of the southwest monsoon over Kerala during next 48 hours.
“The upper air cyclonic circulation over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast now lies over west central Bay of Bengal and north Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts between 2.1 Km and 3.6 Km above mean sea level, which indicates weather will remain stable. Though there are chances that monsoon will hit the state only after two weeks but drizzles at regular interval will provide ease to people,” informed, U Shrivastava the Forecast officer of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Ranchi observatory.
On Monday, Ranchi registered maximum 36.5 degree Celsius and minimum 24.4 degree Celsius whereas at Jamshedpur maximum temperature was recorded 36.8 degree Celsius and minimum 25.9 was registered.
