SS Mohanty, Director (Technical) with additional charge of (Projects and Business Planning) SAIl has taken over as the president of the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) for 2015-16 at its 69th AGM held in Kolkata.
Mohanty started his career from Rourkela Steel Plant as a Management Trainee and has worked in various steel plants of SAIl. Before moving to Corporate Office as Director (Technical), he has served as the Managing Director of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSl).
