Riddhi Sharma, a 22 year old Modi fan ended up getting herself inked on Monday with none other than the portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

An ardent fan, Riddhi said that she took the decision to get the tattoo made after revocation of Article 370 from Kashmir, thus becoming the first person in Jharkhand and Bihar to get the tattoo done.

“I have been a huge fan of our prime minister and the steps he has been taking for the development of our country. On Monday when I heard the news of revocation of article 370, I decided that as a citizen of India this is the best way to show my appreciation for him,” she said. Riddhi said that the revocation of article 370 will finally make India a sovereign country and is a big step towards development of Jammu and Kashmir.

“All his policies and decisions have been favourable for every aspect of the society, be it the cancellation of triple talaaq which gives Muslim women their rights to demonetization to curb black money. I am not a political person but as a citizen of the country I believe that he is the best PM ever,” Sharma said.

This year, Sharma casted her first vote in the Lok Sabha elections, in favour of BJP. “I turned 18 after the elections of 2014 took place and when I saw the changes Modi brought to the country I could not wait to cast my vote in his favour again,” she said.

Despite Modi’s visit to Ranchi several times, Riddhi never got a chance to attend his public addresses. “I was always caught up in work and never got a chance to visit the rallies. However, it is my heart’s desire to the PM at least once in my lifetime,” she said.

One being asked about whether she has concerns about the tattoo being permanent and staying on her skin forever she said, “That is the best part! Modi is my hero and what is wrong with sporting a tattoo of your hero? People do it all the time!”

Vinay Soni, the tattoo artist who made this tattoo was also thrilled to get an opportunity to tattoo a portrait of the PM. “I have made many portraits but this is the first portrait of Modi that I am making. Usually people get portraits of their lovers or parents made but this is for the first time that I am seeing someone get a portrait of their hero made. Hats off to such fans,” he said.
