Modi Govt travelled from injustice to injustice in 10 years: Mir

Published on:

State Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir today said that if the story of the last 10 years of Modi government is written, it will start with injustice and end with injustice. This dictatorial government has crossed all limits of injustice and atrocities and has given birth to such a cruel and ruthless system, where the poor of the country are forced to struggle for two meals a day with self-respect.

Under the auspices of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, a press conference was organized here on Thursday. Jharkhand state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir addressed the conference. On this occasion, State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur, Congress Legislative Party leader Alamgir Alam, All India Congress Committee spokesperson Jyoti Singh, Working President Geeta Koda, Bandhu Tirkey, Jaleshwar Mahato, Shahzada Anwar, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, Minister- Banna Gupta, Badal were present.

Mir said that in the last 10 years, the Modi government has not only made the life of the common man difficult but has also left no stone unturned in strangulating democracy. While on one hand, rampant unemployment is shattering the dreams of the youth, on the other hand, back-breaking inflation is making the life of the poor and the middle class very difficult. Today, where farmers in the country are not getting the value of their hard work, labourers are despite their hard work and sweat, they are not able to feed their families. He said that the daughters are sitting on the streets for their honour and safety and are forced to fight against the dictatorial government.

He said that some select wealthy people are manipulating the entire democratic system like a puppet for their own benefit. Discrimination and atrocities against Dalits, tribals, backward classes, minorities and the poor are not stopping. People are intimidated and threatened by government agencies for raising their voice against injustice, and are suspended for asking questions in Parliament.

Mir said that this is happening in the country because... The Modi government does not want the people of the country to know their truth, ask them questions on important issues, but... now the public has woken up, talking about their rights. They are raising voices against injustice, demanding the right to justice. We are taking this people's fight forward with the people. With the support of the people of this country, we are not going to be afraid of the dictatorial central government, our fight against injustice is not going to stop. This fight for justice against injustice will continue… until we get the right to justice.
