Modi Govt is progressive, says Union Minister

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda praised every single step taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government since it was sworn three years back and said that the faith and trust of the countrymen  in the Government’s key decisions since then made the Government carry its development agenda in full speed.

Nadda, the chief guest of inaugural session of four-day 63rd Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) national convention for the first time in Jharkhand, appealed to the youth to carry Government plans to the masses, especially those in healthcare sector. He also slammed the Congress for allegedly taking the country backward during decades of its rule.

“After famous Jai Jawan Jai Kisan call from the then Prime Minister lal Bahadur Shashtri, demonetization was the only call which got mass support across the country. They foiled every ill-will of handful of people feeding negative thoughts to the people against the government’s economic reforms forward and stood by the government because they knew that it was for the well-being of the nation. Our steps towards economic reforms have been named as the best ones in entire world. People know that we must have taken few bitter decisions but they all were directed towards relieving country in long run,” said Nadda.

He also said that the Government witnessed tremendous change in the mindset of the youth who used to fight for every single job opportunity after novel plans like Skill India, Stand Up India and Mudra Yojna. “Reforms in education sector have made poor students getting enrolled in high cost medical and engineering courses. At the same time, we have reduced death of infants and new born to all time low with major immunization plans,” added Nadda where Padmashri Ashok Bhagat, Balbir Dutt and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, MPs, State cabinet ministers, MlAs, Ranchi Mayor and Deputy Mayor, national and State office bearers of ABVP and dozens of dignitaries from Jharkhand and other parts of the country were present.

Spread for four days from November 30 to December 3, student wing of the BJP will discuss issues related to the youth in 21st century, challenges before it and before the country and how and how much it can help the government overcoming those issues, how to spread nationality as a virtue for citizens of the country and promote cultural integrity of the country among youth, other than passing key resolutions during its national convention.

Youth icon and Olympic medal winner Yogeshwar Dutt motivated youths  for  keeping nation in mind in whatever they did and said that having India written on the back of a person who was representing country in any field was once in a lifetime feeling.

Dutt also took on those not willing to stand up at the time the national anthem was being played and said that their life meant nothing if their spine couldn’t make them stand for even 52 seconds.

He asked youth to make their character their identity and live for the country first.
