District Congress committee organised a meeting to discuss upcoming lohardaga bypoll at Rajendra Bhawan on Saturday. In the meeting, ex-Central Minister Subodh Kant Sahay and JPCC head Sukhdeo Bhagat were present.
Sahay said, “The false promises of Central and State Governments would be narrated to the people. Both the Governments are not concerned with the development. People are reeling under price hike and unemployment everywhere. Rahgubar and Modi build castles in the air. State is also facing the problem of drought, but the Government is not paying attention towards it.”
“By the enthusiasm of people and cooperation of party members, we would win the election. last time, Sukhdeo Bhagat was defeated only by a margin of few votes,” added Sahay.
Bhagat said, “In lohardaga bypoll, the party members will leave no stone unturned to ensure victory. The Congress is concerned about development above religion and community.”
