Modi brings positive vibes for corporate

General Election results giving clear majority to the BJP at the centre for 16th lok Sabha has been welcomed by the corporate world that is hopeful that something good is in the offing which will have far-flung implications on the working environment in the state. Some of the corporate magnates in Jharkhand however, are of the view that it will be too early to comment on it without actually watching Modi perform.

“This is really a welcome thing in the Indian politics and we are all hopeful that good things are going to happen in the Country,” said Managing Director, Essar Power Jharkhand limited, BH Ravindra. We do hope that quick decisions will be taken regarding the clearance of projects which will also be done in a transparent way, he added.

Ravindra said, “Infrastructure is the need of the hour and we do hope that Modi government will put special focus on developing the infrastructure of the country as was done by Vajpayee Government.”

A lot of work had been done by the Vajpayee Government in the field of Expressways and power sector; we expect the same from this government also, he said, adding, “State utilities must pick up now.”

Similarly, Amritanshu Prasad, Executive Director (Corporate Affairs & Business Development) at Adhunik group says that the result

outcome will definitely have positive implications on the corporate world.

“We can now expect that the hardships are going to end and things will change now. This government, putting an end to the stringent working atmosphere, will make things easier for us,” said Prasad.  We also expect that cash crunch in the Country will come to an end soon, he added.

“We hope that industries closing down due to lack of raw materials will be restarted soon and problems will be put to rest if we talk in developmental perspective,” added Prasad.  There are positive vibrations everywhere in the Country that something good is in the offing, he said.

Modi has talked about making the eastern part of the country a hub of economic development which means – hamare acche din bhi aane wale hain, said Prasad cheerfully.

General Manager - Corporate Affairs at Jindal Steel & Power ltd, Samit Saha however, is also hopeful that things should improve with the new government, but it will be premature to come to the conclusions without giving it some time to perform.

Federation of Jharkhand and Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) president Bikash Singh, overwhelmed with the result outcome said that the Modi has been voted for good governance and a new ray of hope has emerged among the people that he will come up to their expectations.
