The villagers of about 10 villages of Kairo block set the house of Goverdhan Prasad on fire where he burnt to last with his wife Mhado Bhagtain and daughter-in-law Sukhmania Bhagat. His home is situated at Chhipo Dheka Toli of Guri Panchayat. He had been accused for kidnapping of kids and killing them for his own prosperity. The half burnt son of the victim laldev Bhagat had been referred to Ranchi for better treatment.
According to the villagers Goverdhan had brought a girl from other village and was preparing to kill her after some rituals. The mob surrounded his house and set it on fire after closing the family members inside it. On getting information police reached to the site at 12:30 in night. At quarter to one the police succeeded to control the mob and the fire.
late night at 1 pm the SP Kartik S took sought of the incident. The son of the victim laldev Bhagat has been badly injured. In this incident 17 people have been arrested, told the SP.
