MlA Barkagaon Nirmala Devi and villagers stopped the work of Sainik Triveni Mining Company at Chirubarwadih village of Barkagaon block. NTPC has given the tender of mining works to this company. When the company tried to transport its machines to the mining site villagers stood on the way saying that the company will have to first clear its displacement policy. For transportation of machines the company has broken boundaries of the agricultural lands and villagers not only opposed it but later gave a petition under their machines and vehicles.
