Mithila Sanskriti Parishad, Bokaro, has taken a step forward to help the people who have been facing the terrible tragedy of floods in the past several days in Bihar.
Parishad has provided an assistance of Rs 45,000 for the flood victims. The said amount was contributed by local members. “The Chairman Kumud Kumar Thakur and General Secretary Rajendra Kumar of Mithila Sanskriti Parishad handed over a cheque to the Mithila Student Union working in the service of the flood victims,” informed Arun Pathak, a member of the Parishad.
The cheque was handed over in the presence of Manoj Jha, Santosh Mishra and Mayanand Jha.
Beside others, Ravindra Jha, Arun Pathak, Sunil Mohan Thakura, Mithila Mahila Committee Chairman Anju Jha, Secretary Usha Jha, Treasurer Sangeeta Mishra were present on the occasion.
