Missionaries of Charity to do the last rites of rescued baby

The premature new born baby girl rescued under a seat of Giridih-Ranchi bus on Sunday by four school boys and later admitted at Neo Natal ward of RIMS, took her last breath at 8:20 am on Tuesday.

Missionaries of Charity came forward to perform the last rites after her autopsy at the medical institution. However, the body could not be taken as members of the home reached the post-mortem room late. It is closed by 5pm.

Several people like the four school boys and JSCPCR members came to see the body in afternoon before it was taken for post-mortem.One of the student said, “She was thrown in the bus for dying and it happened.”Nurses in the ward informed her condition was critical due to her low weight.
