Ratu police recovered missing Ansraj on Monday, within 24 hours of registering a report from his family, fearing that he has been abducted. Speculations of the 10-year boy from Ratu being kidnapped for ransom were proved to be wrong after he was found safe and sound.
As whereabouts of the family driver Indrajeet alias Ajeet could not be ascertained either, the family members feared that he has kidnapped Ansraj. The boy was last seen with the driver, substantiating these fears.
Suspecting that Ajeet will be taking Ansraj to Patna, investigators in the case contacted Patna police, asking them to be vigilant of the boy or the driver. Delving further in the case, police personnel finally recovered the boy from Ranchi Railway Station on Monday morning.
According to sources, the child was not kidnapped. He was merely going to Patna with the driver Ajeet and even his mother was aware of and had consented to this. Police is now trying to clarify the status on whether it was a kidnapping or not.
