The shocking tale of a tribal girl, sexually exploited for around one year at the hand of one 25 year youth of the same locality has surfaced in the Thermal city. The victim Joitsana Kumari (name changed), a tribal girl of Nishanhut, Bokaro Thermal under the same police station of Bokaro district, filed a First Information Report (FIR) on Tuesday evening blaming one youth named Prakash Turi son of late Santu Turi for indulging in rape, forced oral sex and sodomy with her since April, 2015 for saying assurance for marriage with her.
The victim Joitsana Kumari (name changed) daughter of late Ramchander Munda, in her FIR on Tuesday evening. said her ordeal began in mid -2015 one of her neighbour Prakash Turi lured her with the assurance for marriage. The FIR has named Prakash Turi for indulging in rape and sodomy with the victim continuously for a period of one year.
According to her FIR this year in April when her relatives, came to know about this murky episode the matter was reported to the police. According to sources, Joitsana Kumari, daughter of late Ramchander Mund of Nishanhut area of the Bokaro Thermal was in love with Prakash Turi, a resident of the same locality and youth promised that he would marry her in feature as he was deeply in love with her, said.
According to the statement recorded in the police station, Joitsana did not reveal the incident to any one and continued to go to his resident with the impression that Prakash would marry her. But after his refusal, she finally mustered courage to file a rape case against the culprit.
The Officer-in charge cum Inspector of Bokaro Thermal police station, Rajesh Kujur has filed a case (39/16)against Prakash Turi under Section 376 and other suitable of the IPC. The case is under investigation. Prakash Turi left his house and is yet to be traced.
