State Cabinet Ministers Rajendra Prasad Singh and Annapurna Devi inaugurated the famous Shravani Mela at Deoghar on Monday. During the inauguration the minister also addressed the audiences and devotees.
Singh, while addressing the devotees said that he was present not as a minister but as a devotee to Shiva. In a response to the demand of constitution of Panda Dharmrakshini Sabha the minister said that Government would consider the demand.
On the occasion Devi appreciated the new arghya system for offering water to the lord Shiva. He said that it was quite reasonable to start arghya system given the fact that huge number of people participate in the mela.
