On Friday, State Water Resources Minister Chandra Prakash Choudhary instructed to establish Form ‘A’ against three Executive Engineers – Nitai Neeraj, Ajit Kumar Sinha and Shailendra Kumar Mandal – and take departmental action against them.
The former two were posted in small irrigation department of Jamsh
edpur block whereas the latter was posted in Adityapur block.
Neeraj is responsible for constructing serialized check dams on Chakri channel without approval. Along with this, he also made payments to the tune of `40,635.97 without approval.
Boulder pitching work done by him was not in accordance to the guideline, still ` 1,34,512.62 was paid illegally. Singh was found to be involved in similar irregularities.
On the other hand, Mandal was accused of harassing one of his female subordinates and other aides. Investigations proved these allegations to be true and action was ordered against him.
