National Youth Day was celebrated in Mica City on Monday on the birthday anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year. Different organisations and schools at Koderma celebrated the birth anniversary of Swamiji in different ways. Bangali Samiti Koderma organised Prabhat phery, free health check-up camp, and blood donation camp in association with red cross society koderma.
About 4 dozens patients were checked and 12 unit blood samples were collected at the camp organised at Ravindra Bhawan Addi Bunglow. Blood test, blood pressure test were also done at the occasion. Dr D Mukharjee, Dr Abjijit Kumar and Dr Omiyo Biswas treated the peoples.
