Denizens of Ranchi are following the trends of metropolitan cities nowadays. They want duplex and flats for space, sanitary hardware items and tiles like those residing in metropolitan cities.
Interestingly, this latest preference is motivating Real State Owners to come up with Duplex and Flats making projects within the state capital. However, the demand for three bed room flats also exists in this preference chart. Referring this fact, a marketing representative displaying a stall at the ongoing India International Trade Fair on Monday said, “The trend of queries for home in the recent years is basically more for duplex, flats and bungalows. Customers ask us whether they will get a park, playground and parking zone or not with such homes.”
“One can find duplex within a budget of `24 lakh to `40 lakh here. This rate is obviously quite low compared to metropolitans. So, the on-spot queries and booking for such homes are increasing,” the representative added.
Elaborating on the scenario, another city based marketing representative said their tie-ups with local construction companies indicate the majority preference towards duplex. “Residents of Ranchi are ready to afford for duplexes besides three bedroom flats. Earlier, this interest was prevalent only among the metropolitan dwellers,” he maintained.
Similarly, Junior Engineer of a private construction company said, “Though our company is not into duplex building but my friends associated in other companies often come across residents within the city asking for duplex. This is because of Ranchi’s pleasant weather. As for the three bed room flats, following the Vaastu has become mandatory.”
Apart from this latest house format taste, the passion for Home-Décor among the locals is also transforming. Staffs displaying various home décor items in this fair are feeling this change.
Basudev Saha, Sales Executive from a reputed company for sanitary hardware in India said, “Ranchi residents are no more less than those of Kolkata and New Delhi. Spending money for proper sanitation is not at all an out-of-budget matter for them. They are well aware about Wall Mounting Element wherein flush is set up between the wall layers.”
