Thirty year old Raihan was thrashed by select BJP workers while he started abusing party leaders including  state BJP chief Deepak Prakash while the party activists were holding  silent protest to oppose the Punjab incident involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi near statue of Mahatma Gandhi at City Centre today .

The man first was asked to leave place but when he refused he was not only beaten but also was asked to chant Jai Shree Ram. Both Dhanbad MP PN Singh  and MLA Raj Sinha too were present  during the dharna. The man resident of Pandarpala under Bhuli police station is claimed to be mentally ill and has undergone treatment at CIP Ranchi.

However, when his younger brother Jishan was  asked  why he was not admitted in a hospital rather than left to roam about in town risking his life , he had no words to say.

He also said that is not going to file any complaint against anyone as it's not for the first time that such an incident took place with him.We have given in writing to Bhuli police station that if he misbehaves with someone only he would be responsible none of family members.  A senior BJP  district committee leader under condition of anonymity  said, "It appears to be a well planned conspiracy to bring person to over five kms from his house at dharna place for hurling abuses against BJP leaders".
