Mehta comes in support of teaching aspirants

Former Hazaribagh MP BP Mehta came forward in favour of JAC passouts on Saturday and said that he had written a letter to CM Raghuvar Das requesting to change the rules of ongoing teachers’ appointment process to safeguard the majority of unemployed youths of Jharkhand State. “I have sent the copy of this letter to Education Minister and Education Secretary too,” said Mehta.

Keeping the JAC pass outs at par with CBSE and ICSE pass outs is injustice with the majority of unemployed youths of this State. In Jharkhand CBSE and ICSE based schools are only in towns, only 5 per cent students are enrolled in these schools. 95 per cent students of our State appear in board exams taken by Jharkhand academic council and everyone knows the difference in percentage of marks and result of both boards, he added.

Ex-MP Mehta said that every State takes care of their board pass outs but here no weightage has been given that is why JAC pass outs have become only spectators in this process. Initially I had written a request letter to the Chief Minister and other decision making authorities but if they will not take this matter seriously then I will file a PIl in Jharkhand high court, said Mehta.

Talking to newsmen Mehta also raised the case of PawanYadavwhose dead body was found in Charwa Dam some days ago. He said that Yadav was also a victim of communal clash and demanded compensation for his family membersas the administration has announced for another victim Bahadur Sheikh.
